Return Policy
How to return an item?
At KMI Supplies,Inc. we always hope to make our customers happy throughout their time with us. Unfortunately, this is not a perfect world. If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with our products or performance, please contact us! Call or e-mail us at Customer Service, and we will immediately do our best to rectify the situation!
Incorrect Item Delivered:
As hard as we try, we occasionally make mistakes. If we accidentally ship you the wrong product please contact us here. In your e-mail please inform us in as much detail as possible about the incorrect product, item number, and quantity received.
Damaged Items:
For a variety of reasons, products may become damaged while in transit. If you think this has happened, please contact us within 5 business days of receipt of the product, and let us know in as much detail as possible how the product was damaged. From there we will determine the next step. Also please be aware that the customer can reject and return any portion of an order that is damaged or defective.
Customer Error:
For returns due to customer error (such as ordering the wrong item, canceling after shipment or refusing shipment), merchandise must be returned at the customers expense in re-saleable condition. All returned items are subject to a 20% restocking fee in addition to inbound freight. For a variety of reasons, the following items CANNOT be returned:
- any Closeout items.
- any product missing the serial number or UPC code.
- any type of aerosol can.
- items with any new and permanent marks or writing on the container.
- food service disposable items (cups, napkins, plates, etc.).
- any item that has writing on the outside of the box.
- any item without a RA (Return Authorization) number.
- any items that are damaged, are missing parts, or are not in their original condition.
- any items that show obvious signs of use.
Process for Returning an Item:
Note: All returned items are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
A. Obtain a Return Authorization. All requests for RA Numbers must be made within 15 days of receipt. Click here to request a Return Authorization number. When filling out your form, please be sure to provide a phone number so that we may contact you later, if additional information is needed.
B. KMI Supplies, Inc. will provide you with the proper address to which you will return the product. Carefully write down this address: returning the product to the incorrect address may delay or disqualify you from receiving a refund.
C. When shipping the item back, make sure the product is in the original box or package. Please do not write the RA number on the box, because any additional markings on the item’s packaging will make you ineligible for receiving a credit. Instead, please include the RA number on the shipping label, or on a sheet of paper enclosed in a packing slip.
D. Make sure to ship the item FedEx or UPS. Please obtain a tracking number for the package(s) being returned and provide us with that information. Once the package is received, we will issue you a credit.
